An 18 year veteran of USA TODAY, Carol managed motivated and trained teams as District Manager, Circulation Manager, Regional Marketing Manager and, finally, General Manager. Her ability to drive numbers, develop in-depth long range plans and lead large diverse work groups of people, resulted in the opportunity to lead USA Today's 1996 Olympic Initiative. This comprehensive multi-year project won the USAToday Olympic Team the coveted USA TODAY Illuminary Award for excellence in setting and achieving higher standards. A leader in the company, Carol developed and implemented National Training programs taking on the role of coach and mentor to future company leaders.
